Improve Video Gaming Skills by Improving Eating Habits

As many video gamers strive to improve their gaming skills, it’s important for them to know that improving their eating habits is also an essential factor.

Esports gamers after all undergo training not only to further their skills as members of a competing team. They are also placed on healthy eating regimens that will enable them to maintain mental clarity, make quick decisions and of course stay physically fit.

Playing in extremely intense situations requires higher energy levels and strong ability to stay calm, which can be supported by proper nutrition and regular exercise.

What Healthy Eating Means for Gamers

The good news about keeping one’s self on a healthy diet as a gamer does not require complicated food choices and preparations.

For starters, avoid junk food if needing to snack on something. Eat fruits instead especially those with brain-boosting antioxidants like blueberries. Walnuts are good sources of protein too, aside from being antioxidant-rich.

Avoid calorie-rich foods by staying away from fast food meals. Eat lean meat and leafy greens instead as these types of food can increase one’s ability to stay healthy and one’s brain to function well even under stressful situations.

Always keep one’s body hydrated, because even the slightest dehydration can have a negative effect on a player’s motor and cognitive skills.

Get Ready! Riot Games’ Valorant is Set to Launch Soon

Video gamers looking forward to Riot Game’s much-awaited first-person, 5v5 shooter game “Valorant” will be glad to know that it will start rolling out officially on June 02, 2020. The closed beta testing phase is set to conclude on May 28, 2020 but the rollout will not be happening in all regions.

According to the announcement, only gamers located in North America, Brazil, Europe, Japan, Oceania and South Korea will be able to access the official and beta-tested version. Nonetheless, the June 02 launch is only the beginning of a worldwide rollout, as Riot developers are still testing how their netcodes and 128-tick servers will be able to keep up with the millions who will be joining the already staggering number of Valorant players.

According to Riot Games’ executive producer of Valorant, Anna Donlon, the beta version has been averaging as many as 3 million players daily.  Additional server locations in certain areas, namely in London, Atlanta, Dallas, Madrid and Warsaw need addressing in order to fulfill Riot’s promise of providing support in reducing latency.

In addition to the release date and locations, Riot also announced that the official Valorant version will include a beta game mode, a new map, new agent and new weapon skins.
